Installed new OME912 coil overs, and in other posts many others speak of getting the tbars to balance the front to the rear lift. However, mine when cranked only raised it about an inch in the front. Am I missing something major here, potential tbar problem, tbar tower problem, tbar key is too short? Any solutions or potential fixes are appreciated. I can post pics, and measurements if needed.

T/bars, if set to OEM specs will raise at least 4 inches...
...if not more.

Did the t/bar adjuster bolts simply stop turning any more?

If so..your T/bars may have been re-keyed/re-set previously..
...though why I'm not sure if never lifted prior to you fitting 912 springs.

You should be able to re-index the key on the end to allow for more lift. You could also buy HD torsion bars from Indy4X or Calmini but these shouldn't be necessary for the lift you desire.

Thanks jo and Bart, I'll get around to it this weekend. Will update

Mebbe this'll help.

I didn't need to re-index either the VX or the Amigo when doing mine. Let us know if you run into any further issues.

Cool. That procedure is pretty easily adapted to torsion bar replacement as well.

Could just be dirt/corrosion on the threads that make it seem like it has bottomed out as well.

Hopefully you have better luck then I did with the tensioning arms. It took a 20 ton press to get them off my stock bars when I put on HD bars. They now have lots of anti seize on them.

Wow, mine just pulled right off.

FYI, this may be a good diagram to include in the documentation. From a rodeo but quite similar in design:

Same pic (but for VX) is on page 3C-2 (pdf page 12040) of the US.RV shop manual.

Looks like the shocks & hubs are the only differences.
