Just picked it up on Saturday. Sorry for the lousy pic (it was raining) it'll be next weekend before I can get better pix. Boy has the VX at school this week.

Thanks Guys.

Scott - It's a 'V6'. Here's a jpg they used for the mask (I created it using Power Point).

I'll post some better pix this weekend. Should be dragging it down to Williamsburg this weekend so should have the opportunity to put in the last 2 SS bolts & snap some pix in the sunshine. I wonder if the V6 will show up on the RV's rear camera.:)

BTW, I snapped off one of the winshield squirters. Advance Auto did have some generic replacements. They are rectangular shaped rather than round. So far, I likes em. They hose down the windshield much better than the OEM.

BTW: Those new squirters don't just squirt the winshield ... they flood it ... highly recommended (one of the best $20 you can spend on the VX).

BTBTW: Buffy - That's the scratched up insert that came with Boy's Ebony (with most of the studs missing or broked)

... I think I'll keep it

BTW

The SS screws ... T'ain't. They've already got some surface rust. I'll have to replace them soon (before it discolors the LineX).

He has no response to that.

Hey,

Where can i find one for mine. i have been looking everywhere and still no luck.

The finish on the one I replaced is FUBAR so it'll have to be LineX'd too. I also have my original one with a crack in it that could be repaired. I'm sure we could work something out.

I gotta find a different LineX shop though (may be time to visit Marlin). This shop pretty much raped me on cost. Out the door was supposed to be $150 but the bill ended up being $230. They did such a good job on it though that I didn't complain ... but I won't go back (same shop, previous owners charged me $50 for the first one they did (without graphic) but it wasn't fully encapsulated or with the UV protectant).

BTW, what happened to your old one?

Are they the nice spray type squirters or are they like the OEM ones where they are like squirt guns with two streams each?

IIRC they spray (alot). I'll verify & let you know (it's been a few weeks since I've used them).

Yes, it's a fairly wide fan. I was standing next to the VX when I hit the switch. I soaked myself at the same time as the windshield.

I have it set fairly high on the windshield so that when I'm driving at about 50 mph, it hits about 1/2 way up.

You'll hafta give us a little more detail about how your system is 'jacked'.

does the reservoir hold water?

does the pump make any sound when you hit the switch?

do you get water at the splitter but not at the nozzles?
