Thems'll make your VX look very Tonka-ish.

I likey:thumbup:

I wonder if you can get them with more offset though.:)

They look great, but how heavy are they? They look rather beefy.

my Cepek rims on it now are 27lbs each
and these are 31lbs each. If they where alot heavier
I was going to pass on them, but not too bad.

Im going to bead-blast the spoke area so the 3 large
spokes are Silver raw aluminum finish, and leaving the
windows basically the stock flat black.
Just how I prefer them, Ill post pics soon.

Very nice, only thing that I don't like about them is the massive WORX advertisement on the center cap. The center caps are otherwise really cool, I just hate when manufacturers try to turn your vehicle into a rolling billboard.

Look forward to pics!

well, once I blast the spokes back to silver
Im going to paint the cap silver too and the name
wont stand out so much..I can even see how they
look w/o the caps on.

keep in my my Cepek rims have the name too on
them, after a while you tend to overlook it anyways

Very cool, aluminum I assume? I really need to get some steel wheels, aluminum and trails do not play well together at all:( Any update on those LED headlights you got your hands on?

finally got the rims the way I wanted.. for the most part.
I took the black rims, masked off the areas I didnt want black anymore..
has them sandblasted (bad move, actually made the finish way too rough)
In hindsite I should of just had them media blasted for a cleaner,
less rough finish) anyway, from there I took my pnuematic gasket remover..
its a round rough scotchbrite pad type pad and went over the rough
silver finish to reveal the natural aluminum finish underneath. Almost left an
engine turn finish in the end.
Mounted them up today and love the results.http://motorsportwarehouse.com/space/worx7.jpg

Looks nice! I was close to purchase the WORX Havoc about three weeks ago. There were on special online for about $850 (18 x 9). However, the tires guys recommended against it due to the offset...plus there was a 45-60 day wait for those. See pic attached when trying to see "how it will look". I wanted the flat version of those.

thanks, the factory paint and clear is baking off the hood and roof..
so thought the faded cladding was appropriate :)
Its funny how many comments and stares this thing still gets when Im
I drive it. Its drives my wife nuts, everytime we are out someone ask us
what it is and she knows Im going to end up talking about it for a few
minutes.. ( I cant be rude :)

Cool.. glad you like em..
Im not big on 20" rims, but they would look pretty cool for sure..
if you can, check the weight difference between the 17s and 20s first before you buy.

Yeah, that's the funny thing. You list the 17's as 31 lbs, their website lists them at 25. I do see they list the 20's as 40lbs...which is significant. The 18's though are listed at 29, which might be more the ticket.

Edit:

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00C6EPC9M?ref_=cm_cd_al_qh_dp_i

This lists SHIPPING weight at 36Lbs, which means that they're probably closer to 34-35 lbs...if it's accurate.

http://www.amazon.com/Worx-Triad-Offset-Partnumber-801-7935SB/dp/B00C6E3VM2/ref=sr_1_1?srs=8999310011&ie=UTF8&qid=1441114366&sr=8-1&keywords=triad+black+17

This lists shipping weight at 33 lbs. And I have a hard time believing that a 3" bigger wheel only has 3 more Lbs of shipping weight.

Wish I had warehouse access & a scale.

Bump.

Did you use any hub centric rings with these? It looks like these are about 106.1mm ID where stockers are 108mm ID. Were there any issues with this?

Vehi-Cross-Az
12/02/2015, 07:59 PM
No, Ive never used hub rings on any of the wheels on my VX..
but I use high quality tires (Continentals) and driven the truck
at 100 mph on the hwy too with no issues.
Some cars need them more so then trucks, but much varies on if they help or not.
