Getting ready for the paint shop! All the cladding is off now, just need to get those badges off tomorrow and away she goes. They look strange naked don't they?

How long did it take you and please let us know how long it takes to put back. Are you assisting with the masking too. My paint isn't quite to that point yet but well on it's way. Maybe you have sanded some of it??? Can't wait to see the after photos.

Probably took me about four hours to take it all off. I'm leaving the masking to them and they can deal with all the adhesive residue too. I haven't done any sanding but this paint is totally oxidized. You can't really tell from the pictures but it looks pretty bad. Grabber Blue with black cladding is the plan.

Grabber Blue...one of Ford's best colors...

Doesen't that "side impact bar" give all us VX'rs piece of mind?...:yesgray:

Since it's about tha same level as the seat base...:rolleyesg

:luck:...& hope to see pics SOON!

BTW...&, FWIW...I don't think you'll be very pleased with plasti-dip's durability as a hood insert coating.

SEM's bumper black (https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=1&cad=rja&ved=0CFoQFjAA&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.semproducts.com%2Fproduct-catalog%2Fspecialty-products%2Fbumper-coater%2F&ei=l0VFUaDUHqiMyAH_toG4Ag&usg=AFQjCNHfG38wIplqQpCFnCYmaGxYL1jX2A&sig2=3jpiSxts13hVcu4uZ7aK-w&bvm=bv.43828540,d.aWc) is FAR more better IMO...
