Hello all,

First off, let me say I have always loved these cars and Now I am looking into getting one. I am 6'2" and 290lbs, built like an nfl lineman and was wondering if I would fit in a vehicross. I don't know of any around the boston area I could try. If anyone could help me out I would really appreciate it.

Thanks :)

6'2" 220lbs fit is good after I get past the door opening. (Just watch your head getting in.) I made it into the back seat once! There a lot of room back there too after you get past the front seat.(Thats the hard part)

I am 6'4" and 190 lbs. and I fit just fine.. Your head will be a little closer to the door opening than other vehicles. Some other vxer's have lower their seats with custom brackets.
As for finding one to try out the fit. Try Cars.com or Autotrader.com and find one at a used dealernear you to just go look at.

You could be describing me...with the added note that I am 'long torso' (32 inseam) and the VX does not have enough headroom for me. If you have more of your height in your legs you could be fine, hard to day.

Use the search function on the home page. Select Members from the drop down, select advanced search & hit go.

On the next page, put Boston in the city & hit search. This is what you get:

http://www.vehicross.info/forums/memberlist.php?do=getall

I think I saw 4 members that have logged on in the past year (so are likely to still have their VX). Send a private message or email to them to see if they'd let you try on their VX.

You could repeat the search & put MA in the state box to expand your search a little.

EDIT: Oops. When I copied the URL, it lost the search criteria. You'll have to follow the steps to pull it up yourself.

Im 6'9" around 210 and i fit pretty good. yes, the seat is leaned back a bit, but my knuckle dragging arms have no problem reaching the steering wheel. the steering wheel is adjustable also. Im no wide body, thin build, but i think you would be able to adjust

6"1, 300 lbs. I fit fine. Be careful parking too close to others, getting in and out of the door might be more of an issue. You will have to do a little head dip thing getting in and out but I think you will be fine once seated. Back seat is no fun getting in and out but you don't plan on being there :)

Thanks for the replies everybody. It seems like I would fit in the car. I just have one other question about the timing belt replacement cost but I figure I will post a new thread. (I tried searching but I could not find any prices from shops).

ain't that the truth.

kind like getting into a sports car on really tall jack stands. If you can crunch your chin and bellybutton together, you'll be fine:yesy:
