Save your cash.....

it's another As Seen On TV scam..
The bottle is "sample" sized, the "detail" kit is worth about 6 cents... scraps of cloth and a sponge with the thinnest Nitrile glove I've ever seen.
The product itself is crap.....and very little of it.
They cheerfully return your purchase price....they'd planned to all along.
They make theirs by keeping the 15 bucks you spent for them to do a 75 cent mailing.

DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT

**probably best to steer clear of any "As Seen on TV" stuff.....but really run from this one

Thanks for the review, a buddy of mine was ready to spring for it to test it out on his X-Terra and of course the VX in the ad made me wonder....

Yup...http://www.ripoffreport.com/directory/wipe-new.aspx

Sorry you got taken, Chops.

Hopefully this will hasten the demise of all the "hey, there's a VX in a commercial" threads.

Wow, I didn't expect that about WipeNew. What a rip-off!

Many of us used ShowRoom New dye with great results. Might look into that.

Thanks for the info. Commercial makes it look like a great product.
Will stay away from the purchase.

I'm sorry to hear about your experience but I had a completely different one.
I used the wipenew on my VX with it having been faded pretty bad.
I apllied the whipnew about 4 mounths ago and have had the VX washed more then a hand full of times. I can say that it has held up very well.
I know that you get a pretty small bottle of the product but a little is supposed to go a long way.
Perhaps you should have refered to their tutorials on youtube(mainly the one that the guy demos on the mazda).
You can see my results in my lattest picture.
Sorry for the bad luck though : /

I just read through most of the complaints filed against them in the "RipOff Report" link that V attached.

Separate and apart from how the actual product may work -
It's got some VERY unethical practices!
I'd NEVER order from them.

Some GOT CHARGED even though they did NOT actually click the "submit order" button to finalize the order from the shopping cart!
That's a FIRST for me, never heard of that happeneing!! They've got your credit card number and can charge to it! :freek:

They often issued a refund after a customer complained but they OFTEN just RECHARGED it again a few days later without authorization to do so!

They DOUBLE and triple charged many customers on shipping. (Even when customer only ordered ONE bottle.

Some ended up paying $35 in shipping charges after returning the product.
