Imagine my surprise when I got a call last night from one of my oldest surviving friends...
It was Big Jim's brother Mike, asking me what kind of...Ummmmmmm..."favours" I had to do, to get Suzy in the readers rides section...:_thinking
I had no idea that I was in Petersen's was my reply, nor do I remember ever submitting any info to them for consideration...:_confused
I didn't really believe him, but curiosity got the better of me & I went to my local grocer & looked for myself.
Darned if the dude wasn't right, Suzy got the top 1/2 of pg 26...:mbrasd:+:dance:
Anyone have any ideas on how this might have come to be???...:confused:

Also, I like how the Mazda truck in the lower right corner is called "Inspired Isuzu." If anything other than Mazda, it's a Ford before Isuzu. oops. :laughing:

It looked very familiar, so I reviewed my 4 yrs of Moab pics to see if I took it maybe.....
'09 - No Ron/John skid plate, no ND plate, no skull, amber triangular fender lights, very normal spare on roof
'10 - Had Ron/John front skid plate, a ND plate on front, a skull on top, smoked triangular fender lights, very normal spare on roof
'11 - Had Ron/John front skid plate, black DUB plate, skull on top, very normal spare on roof
'12 - Had Ron/John front skid plate, black DUB plate, no skull, new red rimmed wheels, monster spare on roof
my guess...I think it's from '09 or earlier....and maybe on the obstacle shown in 2011.....

OK, so I just bought the issue too, and I would REALLY like to know who it was as well, especially since it is MY PHOTO that they used. Not that I care so much, it's awesome that it is in there, however it would have AT LEAST been nice of them to ask permission to use it first. Now, Dub, I would imagine it must have been you (in which case, all is fine with me), especially since the photo is an un(web)published photo of mine from Moab 2008, of which I would assume I gave to you on disc way back when....
