what is this no button for?

In the center console there is a insert as if some option vehicross' come with a button here. What is it? It is right next to the heated mirrors button by the parking brake handle. I ask because my friends FJ has an option of dif lock but dont have the button to work it. He bought the button and now has dif lock. Dont make any sense to sell a button as an option but its wired for it.

It is the electric folding mirror button on the JDM version.

The space is used on the JDM model for the folding mirrors switch. There is also a coin slot that fits in the space.
