OK, I'm getting the P1133 code so I'm trying to change the B1S1 sensor (passenger side front according to the manual). I got the sensor out but can't get at the electrical connector! My moose hands won't fit up there. Do I have to do some major disassembly here or is there an easier way that doesn't cost me a lot of skin loss. Appreciate any help I can get.

Many times when you're getting O2 sensor codes, especially when combined with "lean during acceleration" codes...it's the intake gaskets...:_wrench:

I did both of mine (upstream of the exhaust) a couple month ago. lost a lot of skin... I took the big cross member out and lowered it with a jack. That allowed me to get at the electrical connector (still difficult and painful but better). there was a plastic tab that held the wire in place against the frame. I was able to remove it which gave me more wiggle room. Couldn't get it back but I think that was fine. I got it all back together and still had the code :(

Sigh...hopefully it's just the O2 sensor. Really don't wanna mess with gaskets at the moment. I looked at the cross member but was hoping someone figured a great and spectacular fix! Ah well, gonna be doing ball joints and CV boot next week so I guess I'll add a crossmember removal to the list.

those cats come off the header pipes pretty easy, 3 nuts each, a common brass ring is the seal, got new ones from NAPA before I put the refished/polished cats back up; at $20 a sensor I wish I has just replaced all 4 O2 sensors now, my only code since doing tranny rebuild and exhaust work is PO140 / P0140, I think I just need to replace my rear ones, much easier to get to
