Back up camera screen placement

[Mile High VX]

When I bought my VX the back up camera screen was mounted to the suction cup holder it came with and tucked neatly in the fuzzy compartment.



When I addded my driving/fog lights I needed that space for the three switch holder so I went with the long arm suction mounted holder. It was okay but blocked some of my vision on the left side of the VX.

I grew tired of that finally and mounted it on the steering column cover with some heavy duty velcro and a black hinge. It folds down when not in use and can easily be raised when backing up. The housing was grey so I painted it black to match the VX interior. I like it so far and we'll see if it's as stable as I need it to be.

Looks clean and out of the way. My screen is a replacement rearview mirror but it is huge. Works well but does impede the view a bit.
