I have no idea if the caption for this photo is true or accurate ... it doesn't matter.

I felt compelled to post it to make sure that all of our Armed Forces family know that their sacrifices are not forgotten by time ... or by us! God bless you all.

Thanks from one Vehicross owner to another, thanks for the thoughts and well wishes. I know there are other VXers who are still in the service as well. Headed out in two months on my 5th deployment. Hoping to spend two weeks with my family before I go--I left them in CA when I got restationed to Fort Benning.

Sorry to hear this Doug, was hoping that school would keep you here long enough to have everyone home. Take care my friend and be safe.

I thanked one of the folks here for his service and he said (my paraphrasing), "Uh thanks, I guess, but it's no big deal because to me it's just my job." To me, it's very much appreciated because I know I don't have the fortitude to do the same job myself. No matter what you do, it's so extremely important and I still say, "thanks!"

Good luck Doug, on my way home in two weeks from an 8 month deployment. This is my sixth and hopefully final!! Stay safe.

BOL Doug. Keep safe. You too Marlin.

Bummer about the caption on the photo being bogus. Like I said though, it really doesn't matter since the inspiration is heartfelt.

I've worked for the Army as a civilian for 30 years. I hope some of what I've done has helped Y'all.
