Wicked pumped for tomorrow night. I'll be seeing the Avengers movie. :yesb: I'm a huge fan of comics (mostly Marvel) and own every Marvel movie on DVD. I can't wait to see how they incorporate all of these characters into a 2 hour movie. Of course, i'm most excited for Captain America. I also just bought myself Captain America comic #100 from 1968, which is the premiere issue of Cap alone in his own comic. Ok, enough rambling from me. Anyone else seen the movie yet or going to see it soon.

And fyi for those always wondering whether to stay after a movie or not... The below website has saved me ALOT of time.

Saved it to my phone so I always have it handy. It will tell you if there is something during or after credits as well if there is nothing at all or if it hasnt been checked yet. Also if you happen to miss it you can read what you missed.

First time ever going to a midnight premiere and I don't think I could have picked a better movie, I loved it! Amazing is by far the most popular word I've used and heard to describe it.

Also, yes there is something to stay for after the credits.

Yup. I'm hoping for another Avengers in 2014. I also hope they add Ant-Man and Wasp to the cast.

Wifey & I planned on going but spent too much time over the weekend with landscaping instead. Hopefully we'll get to go this week.

Listening to Y'all talk about the movie was giving me flashbacks to so many episodes of 'Big Bang Theory'. Bazinga!!

You think thats bad.....

I went to the movie as part of a Developers Conference called "Stir Trek (http://stirtrek.com/About)". Literally 1,000 stereotypical nerds at a movie theater conference. At the end of the day they showed Avengers for everyone. It was EXACTLY like watching a comic book movie in a theater packed full of Nerds. (I can say that because I qualify as a nerd, but probably not stereotypically)

Bah now I am going to have to watch Big Bang theory, never seen a eppisode. I want to start from the begining buut never got around to it and I keep falling more and more behind to catch up at this point. It seems like my kinda show.

I'm trying to make an appeal to the Academy to start giving Oscars for best Action/Adventure films. Sux that great movies like this don't get recognized. Obviously it's making a ton of money and making an impact in more peoples lives than some of the other nominated films. Even if the impact is simply making people smile for 2 hours...it's making a LOT of people smile.

Buy the seasons on DVD. You won't be disappointed. Its funny all the way through. I think Wal-Mart has them for under $20 (in my store anyway).

I love Big Bang Theory.Can't stand digital,fake movies.I grew up on movies where the directors had to find the exact shot, at the right time,perfect light conditions,ect.Real art and skill,not ..-.-.-.-.-.pixals I go to the art house movies.I think the last video I played was PONG(not really but close)

YES!...Man it was tough...only had 3 channels on a 19inch B&W(that's black & white) finally a magic man came with a cable in his hand!

I was in your exact shoes til a co-worker loaned me each season on dvd and I got to see all the episodes...funny stuff..especially if you can relate in the nerd department ( I grew up on trek and loved the new battlestar galactica).

Well, you're in luck. There's an episode about the boys finding the "one" ring from LOTR and Penny punches Sheldon in it.

That Thor punch was straight out of the old Chuck Jones "Looney Toons" cartoons. I laughed so freakin' hard...

There is one during the "graphical" part of the credits (you'll know when you see it). Then there is one at the VERY end of the text credits.

Yup, saw both. That scene with them in the diner was recorded only about a week before premiere.
