Awe man. Being my first trip down there, everyday i get mini anxiety attacks because i think I've forgotten something. I then realize that I'm still at home and its still a month away. Then the feeling of stupidity comes over because after all of the worrying I realize that i really am not ready. i feel like this :disturbed and :_brickwal

I'm definitely itchin to go! This year I finally have a job that gives me the vacation time needed and the income to make it feasible... But I have a conference in FL to attend for said job that week:(

ND92, whatever you forget can usually be bought there or borrowed. Everyone is, usually, very generous with their time and materials so there's really no worry. I think my first year in Moab I had a hand held CB (which you can borrow if you don't have a CB), a box of common tools and some water and I did just fine. If you're going to go super agro, though, you may want to bring some more tools and some spare parts. You'll have a blast no matter what.

I'm getting pretty excited to get out there but i'm also feeling the pressure to get all of my projects before moab.
5 weeks to go and I still have to install the york air compressor, new gearing & locker in diffs, hd tie rods, new cb radio, gas tank lift, new rear shocks, coil spring retainers, new ac compressor, rock sliders...

Several thousand dollars? Gas isn't that expensive...neither is the Red Rock!
Although that is one reason I camp, to afford the gas.
