Southeast PA VX get together

This weekend I will have a few VXs at my place getting spruced up (details I will leave to the owners to disclose). But the plan is to begin work early Saturday 3/24 and work most of the day until about 8pm possibly finishing touches the following morning. Anyone local who wants to stop in and hang, help or learn are welcome anytime.

this will be at my house in Norristown PA right off 422/363. Anyone interested I will PM my address.

Right now there are 4 confirmed including me. 2 more maybes. Lets see if we can fill the driveway and front lawn!

Rain is a possibility. We are prepared to get work done rain or shine but the vx showing would be hindered.

I believe this is the only opportunity for VTMav to get this mod complete.

Next weekend could be a possibility if we absolutely had to, but after that I'm not free for several weekends and Kevin flies back to Madeira.

I think it's a 60% chance of rain or so which probably means there'll be some time during the day when it's not raining. Besides, we can always talk VX stuff in the garage.

I'm gonna try...hell I'm not that far away! Got rug rats for most of the day while the wife works. So what sort of work or mods are on the agenda here? Top secret stuff or what..ha ha.

Top Secret! But if the weather is ok I am set up to do most any mods/maintenance you can think of short of metal shaping. Id be willing to help out with other stuff if we have enough people and time.

I always end up fighting with the retainer clip when changing headlamps ... so I will need some assistance with that ...

Eric, do you have a plug in drill? I seem to run out of battery too quickly with the rechargeable ... I gotta finish polishing the headlights

BTW ... anyone ever removed the steering wheel ? (and not accidentally deployed the airbag!)
I have a spare that is in much better condition, and would like to swap it out ...

Well the install is still a bit of a work in progress. We got everything wired up this weekend but ran into some software issues (gotta love Windows) that I'll be trying to get sorted out this week, as well as some fiberglass smoothing that will have to come later. The interior and exterior need cleaning before I'll take pics - 700 miles round trip with two kids and a dog is not exactly the cleanest way to travel. :) Give me a few days and I'll post pics.
