Finally got around to it getting the aluminum treadplate sills made and powder-coated same time I was getting the tail light guards made.

I had nicked the sill so much the light gray cladding was showing in the scuffs. So I touched up the entire sill with ShowRoom New dye.

I had them center it along the sill

Used the existing screws and cladding screws.

It's .032" thick aluminum.

The Powder-coat is a dark charcoal/blackish color with loss gloss and is an extra durable type. I picked this color to go with both the almost matte cladding, and the higher gloss black sliders

I had them wrap it down around the lowest part of the cladding even though it shows because that edge gets beat to crap by my left foot in/out. It's not fitting completely flush against the cladding there. I may have them bend it a bit more to snug up against the cladding, or just leave it. There's plenty of room for drainage too.

The RockyRoad Super sliders completely protect that lower part, so very unlikely anything will snag on the front edge of the treadplate even though it's down low....

I can still have that part chopped off if I want, but not sure how they'd finish that edge....cuz the flat/top part still needs protection.

I know they look a bit dumb, but "I'm special" :goof: and they serve my needs. (Had to put them on Dave's RZR too)

RESULTS:
Priceless....:goof:...OK you knew that was commin'...:laugho:

Weird... for the first few pics I was like "hmm... that's not really working with the hanging past the door sills thing."

And then that last pic showed up, with the slider there and all, and I thought, "wait, that actually might be kinda cool after all!"

How about another shot from a little further back so we can see the whole thing?

As always, regardless, I'm a huge fan of your pursuit of unique mods that aren't just cosmetic. Bulletproof brush guards, diamond plate sills, ditching the bull bar to increase your approach angle - to name a few.

This is the furthest away I have right now....they basically disappear from a distance. The sliders have a nice sold square bar running along the underside of the that lowest cladding piece, so that part of the tread plate is completely protected by it. That bar in directly below that bottom edge of tread plate.

When seen with the sliders, it kind of looks like a package deal.

Post the side-on view when you get around to it. Nice work,
