Hi Jon,
Good luck with the VX. I got mine last June, had loads of fun with it. When do you collect yours?

I saw that one and was tempted by the mileage which looked genuine enough.. but thought it was greedy to have 2 so did not bid... well done and good luck with it... I am South coast (Portsmouth) so not really a neighbour... nothing comes close for smile factor... had mine just over 1 year (cam belt failure was a slight hiccup but the forum was a great help) .... E N J O Y...

Yes, found it has loads of spares with it. Owner is going to have it running before i do the final payment. Which is fair :).
He has changed oils etc and she is turning over but not fired up as yet.
as stood for long time i will get a major service and change of belts etc. done.
I go up to Pompey occasionally as friends are in Southsea.
Will keep in touch about progress.

Wow.... saw that one go on ebay for £3,300.... I guess even if it needs a further £1000 spending on it ... not bad.

for a minute you lost me now Paul.... but just checked back to see the one you are on about.... well the last time it was up for Grabs JonGM got it for a lot lot less and walked away from it I think so I am really surprised when it needs to be towed... I guess havign the classified running for 6200 at the same time might have over egged it??

Might hang on to mine abit longer... Any ideas about tow bars??

Hi, sorry to pick up a really old thread but -a: I'm in the South West and -b: I uses to own a blue '97 JDM VX that was written off (@2007) and went to a breakers in Cornwall..
Like I said, I know it's a very late response but I'd be interested to know if my old VX is out and about...
I'm in Devon, btw, near Exeter.
