I only have 3 weeks (2 weekends) to get'r done in time for Daughter's Bridal Shower being held in back yard.
If I don't get it done before I leave for Mississippi, I'll donate $100 to the site.
If you vote that I won't be done & you're wrong, you owe the site a $5 donation.

I'm giving myself a 4 day working weekend starting tomorrow so I'll post updated pix on Monday.
BTW, there's no way of enforcing losing this bet so don't let the $$$ stop you from voting.

It depends Tom, if you're having a pool-party-bridal-shower then it looks like you're set.
Are you taking out the pool? I refuse to vote without more details....:p

If you want to get it done in time get a good generator, large chainsaw, blue tarps for your roof, a stump grinder, ax, tractor, skid loader, hurricane shutters, plenty of water, bread, MRE's, some extra cash, and don't forget to top your tank off. Cause IRENE is your wildcard. :)

Believe it or not, I just vacuumed the pool 2 days ago (Stoopid leaves).
Not sure what the tan stains are on the bottom (new this year & I can't get rid of them).

I voted for you Tom, not because I think you da man (although you are) but because I think you'll have a hornets nest of women crucifying you every day that you don't. And God help you if you actually don't finish.
When I first saw this thread I thought you were going to ask us whether Welder Guy would ever finish our hitch. ;) :p

Didn't turn on the 'Puter once over the weekend.
Got in a full day on Thursday & half a day on both Friday & Saturday before getting chased in by storms. Saturday I had just taken down a 30' ladder from cutting branches over the deck & pool (storm prevention & ... well, they were just in the way) when the first fringe effects from Irene arrived. So just packed in the tools & made a run to the dump. Sunday was just too windy (without rain for a change of pace) to get much done other than cleaning up. But I did take the opportunity to trim out the sliding glass door between the dining room & the sun room.
Current state of affairs: Left side of deck now goes all the way to the retaining wall; lattice 7/10 complete; more framing installed for next section of deck; another load of lumber stacked up ready for next step(s); about 300 lbs of leaves & deadfall cleaned from pool (still need to vacuum). I'll get more pix this weekend.

I gotta ask, did you build that addition on yourself? It could have been in the previous posts but I didn't look. I am thinking of something similar, and wondered.
Good work.
My current project is 670ft of privacy fence (picket by picket). And ripping out the existing fence.

Yup,
I musta been a handyman in a previous life - Wifey is forever slapping my hands away (but I digress).
I'm cheap & I live by the addage that it's better to ask forgiveness than to ask for permission (never get a permit). I cut every board & drive every screw (sometimes Boy or BIL help).
670'. That's a lot of fence posts to set (84 at least). Fire up the BBQ & I'll come help.
