Decided to start taking some pics at work daily just because I love where I work. The scenery is just too pretty to ignore even with seeing it every day. Of course, my VX will be in quite a few of them as it is my work vehicle. :bwgy: Sorry if the pics aren't the greatest, I take them on my phone.

Is that Orfilla? Looks a lot like their vineyard...

Yup, those are wine grapes. Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Shiraz. Those pictures are actually from three of the about 30 vineyards that I monitor and test for the winery I work at.

Ahh yes, wine country. Drove through Paso Robles yesterday, and I was at the "Passport to Dry Creek" event up north of Santa Rosa just a few weeks back. I love wine country.

Bart,
I have raced in both of those places. Wildflower half ironman at Lake San Antonio...about 30 miles out of Paso Robles and Vineman Ironman distance in Santa Rosa and the surrounding area. Swam in the Russian River, rode through the many, many vineyards and ran through Santa Rosa's vineyards including a romp over the crush pads. Beautiful area for sure. Santa Rosa has a very good breakfast restraunt in the old german section of town. Can't remember the name but its a red brick building, the owner is a Jaguire fan and has the front ends of a bunch of old Jags sticking out of the wall on the inside. The food was great! :yesy:

Can't recall the name off the top of my head either, but I have eaten there twice!!

OOooooooo. Vino!

I make many trips up to wine country in Santa Ynez and north. Coming up I'll be driving up to Sonoma for a much needed vacation since finishing my Masters degree.

Beautiful pics!! Beautiful scenery!!
