Ok here's the deal......I pulled my front bumper mainly because I'm thinking of moding a new one to match my Ranchhand on my Megacab. The removal process was quite simple with the exception of the screws behind the turn signals that i didn't see causing me to pull the bumper off without thier removal.....O-well. Anyway..I pulled the turn signals and removed the wiring, set the bumper to the side and started observing and planning how i wanted to do this. After i went to reinstall the front bumper I noticed i have more bulbs than i have places for them to go......how can this be? i plugged the wiring in for the signals but I have extra wires connected to a 194 peanut bulb and socket that have no place to go.......what did I miss?? There are no extra holes in the lenses so not sure what to do with the bulbs?? kinda embarassing but I'm lost. Please help!!!!!:confused:

There's lightbulbs behind the orange signal lights, as well as the round white parking lights. That should account for the 4 bulbs mounted to the front bumper, no?

these came out of the same pocket as the lower turn signals, and they are too small to be for the driving lights.......i'm stumped!!

Do they actually light up? Are you the original owner? Maybe a previous owner had extra lights (fog lights, driving lights, etc) installed at one time?

That's why many of us have upgraded those front round marker lights....(they're not considered driving lights).
Have seen several choices:

1)- Some have installed Malibu 18w light bulbs from HomeDepot. About $5 each bulb .

2) - etlsport, Grif and I installed some 25 LED tower bulbs that were really bright, and they run cool cuz they're LEDs...a few owners in the past have found certain other types of bulbs melt the housing. About $20 for both.

3)
A few years back, a few owners installed Hella Micro DE lights (and then some upgraded those bulbs to HIDs - Rowhard was one who did). About $150 for 50w set. About $500+ for HID set.

4) A newer option is to install some high power LEDs. YellowGizmo did it with a set he got on ebay. He had to modify the surround slightly, here's his thread. About $150 for both:

I then decided to upgrade mine to some super bright LEDs, just about the same as YellowGizmos, but a different brand (Vision-X, about $300).
Scroll down about halfway in this single post I made:

You can see there's several options now....(with vastly different prices too), so you can decide what works for you!
