View Full Version : Question on replacing Tranny cooler supply lines

I'm leaking tranny fluid where the lines go to and from the cooler on the passenger side, just behind/below the radiator. I was wondering if anyone has replaced the lines and if so, what you used and why? Intend to do those when I peel open the front to do the timing belt (probably get new radiator hoses too).

I have had the same problems since I got the VX. I would be interested in seeing if you can fix this keep us updated :-)

User BOARZHEAD told me he's done multiple body lifts with VX's and each required him to replace tranny lines. He could probably help you out. I'd PM him and ask if he's got any suggestions.

I replaced all my lines with transmission cooler hose. I took the lines out of the transmission and installed barbed fittings on the transmission with o-rings, during this I put a big external cooler in the grille and am now using both the stock and aftermarket:
