haha pink? i dunno if im that bold billy, not for my daily driver.
i would actually go for that on a project, but not for my daily ;)
dubski-
their made of 3/16 sheet steel. They are currently just primed and now have a few scratches after last weekend :naughty:
if i did paint em white, i would get matching paint from home depot/checker. So they would be a perfect match.

I think the white would make it just look too big and bold, I think it kinda overwhelms and takes over the entire front of your truck....'course you may want that affect :_shrug:.....I'd say black.

I'd say keep em metal, but if its mild steel i suppose it will rust. Although if you paint it it's going to look quite rough fairly quickly isnt it?

Semi-gloss black, it'll hide the scratches and rash and be easy to touch-up. Once you go black...

hmm, its very interested to me that most voted black.
i would of though most would go for white to match the car.
ill take pics from other angles, just remember that they are still rough and primered as i havent put the finishing touches on them ;)

Peanut Butter Kid,
If you already had your mind set up to paint it white, why did you ask our opinion???:)
IMHO, skid plates are undercarriage components & I believe that all undercarriage components should be black. Of course that statement comes from someone who's crossmember & diff brackets are painted John Deere 'lello.

lol, sounds like you want it white!! do it!!!!
Just to throw another option in why dont you get some 3M vinyle? you can either wrap it in white, or maybe a chequer plate pattern or even a carbon effect etc? a single role is 650mm wide i think? and not too expensive.

ya, thats an interesting idea james. The only problem i see with it is that i plan on these getting very scratched up, and i think vinyl would be hard to repair.
ya, i pretty much had my mind set on it i suppose. i just though i'd get opinions.
thanks for all the input everyone!
i'll let you all know the results asap :)
