VX wiring sheet from DEI database [Text View]

If you are thinking of installing your own alarm, I got a hold of a wiring cheat sheet from DEI's database. It'll make your install easier. The PDF can be downloaded here (http://mywebpages.comcast.net/p_ting/VX/VXwire.pdf).

I also have a wiring diagram for those who wish to install their own power rear gate popper (source your own popper, soleniod, switch, etc.)

Thanks, any chances of getting a cheat sheet for 1999 models? :) I know for a fact that wire colors are different - at least in the ignition harness.

I have tha 99 dei info, but its printed out so ima need the: how to make a pdf for dummies book to get it up here :confused: any advice info, so i can share tha knowledge...x

Scan it and save as PDF. Well, there's a little more to it than that. You'll need Full version of Adobe Acrobat or some sort of image editing software that allows you to save in PDF format. If you don't have it... send me a copy and I'll make it.

No fax available sorry. Got a scanner? If you can get access to a scanner, scan it at 100%, 150 dpi. Email the file to me as a JPEG, then I can turn it into a PDF.

That�s a nice wiring sheet.
Where can I get one for the silver box under the CD changer with the 96 wires going into it.
The plan is to relocate it and use the space for the climate controls.
I�m gutting the whole dash and fabricating a new center console.
I need lots of space for a seven inch LCD display & DVD player.
Everything MUST GO!

did anyoneg get the wiring thing for the 99 vx? can you please post....or just answer my 1 question...wat is the orange wire for the radio do? and is there no ground wire for the 99 radio?

Here is what the factory service manual shows:
radio connector pin numbers
14-clock
04-power
11-illumination
03-illumination dimmer
No ground shown
others are speakers

theres no black wire for teh ground for the radio...and theres an orange wire tat comes out of the antenna plug...other then tat everythign else is correct for the radio atleast

I've heard the VX has an amplified antenna. That's probably your orange wire.
