Moncha has asked me to make his apologies for being behind in the monthly contest. He is a bit "under the weather" with a nasty virus. He will try to catch up soon and asks your indulgence and patience, please.

Hey Ms Moncha,

Yep, we are all definitely pulling for him, and with 4WDs with a lot of torque at that. :-) Think of us as your Torque-On-Demand support group. I certainly wish him a speedy recovery!

Thank you all for your prayers and good wishes. It puts a smile on Scottie's face when I read him your posts. At first it was thought he had a VX addiction and I was going to check him into the HENRY FORD CLINIC!!!;Dy;

But, alas, it is not quite that simple. It is a nasty virus but Scott is one tough hombre. He hopes to be back driving Moncha soon.

Really sorry to hear that - if the TX crue needs to make a Colorado run to cheer him up, just let us know. Take care and don’t hesitate to ask for anything.

I'm not a doctor, but I play one on TV. For Scott I prescribe 7-Up, crackers, hot tea with honey, and chicken soup. Now, for the most neglected member of every family with a sickie, the wife/mother! For you, I prescribe chocolate, ice cream and plenty of Lifetime TV. "Lifetime. Movies for women. Your movie's on."

If you get bored with being sick, I highly recommend inviting people over and hugging them just to see what kinds of friends you really have. To add to this excitement you should also have a frosty glass of water handy. Take a big swig, then offer it to your company. When they decline, act hurt. Get some cooked spaghettil and add red food dye. When your company comes over, have a little hidden in your hand. Pretend to sneeze into your 'spaghettil' hand, then scream in horror as you open your hand and hold it out to them.

Okay, I'll stop being gross. Get well. We need you out here.

I got hit with something a few weeks ago... only had a fever for one evening.. but missed 2 whole and 2 half days of work, and our company party at the beach, from it.

Doc gave me penicillin for it.. and said 'stop taking it if we discover it is not Strep' after the throat culture...
Well it wasn't Strep... so he said it was viral. It went away but here I am 3 weeks later, and I STILL have the darn hacking cough ...

I sure hope it isnt whatever I had!

Get better soon!

2. How come nobody mentioned Rhobotussin?
3. For sore thoats Listerine (yellow) not that blue sweet stuff.
4. Thera Flu
5. Ricola (honey, lemon, Echinacea flavor)
6. Whale Oil (ran out, hard to find)
7. Mega Man timed release multi Vitamins from GNC.

For external uses:

2. Vicks
3. Windex

Hope these items help you Scott as much as they have and continue to help me.:luck:

How about a section called "Whats in your medicine Cabinet?";Dy;

Hope Scott feels better soon. In the meanwhile we'll see if there's anything we can do, extraterrestrially speaking, of course.

O.K., we're increasing the orbit of Mars a little. See if that helps.

Works for me everytime.

I thank you and all of your cheers from the bottom of my heart...
I've been dealing with what the doctor is calling a nasty virus.. Of course, that's what they say when they have no idea what it is.. I see a specialist tomorrow so, hope he doesn't say, "yep, you got a nasty virus there".
I'm getting caught up on the site stuff and will be making progress on the update as soon as I can sit up for more that a few minutes at a time.

Again, thank you VERY much for your thoughs and prayers and I hope to be on my feet soon.
