How dare you publish some of my best work without consulting me first? Those are copyrighted trade secrets! I will see you sir, in court!!;Dy;

In all seriousness though, I had already read that thread, and it is great, if a little frightening. I think the underlying motto of that thread should be: "Just because you can do something, doesn't mean you should." It's amazing how some US vehicle laws are so specific and restrictive in some areas(full hydraulic steering for instance), yet so ridiculous that the preceding examples would actually pass under the same laws. What a world we live in:rolly:

P.S.-Marlin don't get bright ideas. You are specifically forbidden to view the link above.:p

I'm already feeling dumb and I've only made it part way down the link. I get the stupidity in the first set of pics (Ranger) but what's going on in the second set (looks like a red Chevy/GMC SUV)?

The steering linkage is at an angle that it totally whacked and the T-case is clocked at a 90 degree angle. Also the leafspring hangers look to be made of something almost as thick as a Wrigley's gum wrapper.

Oh! The humanity! Seeing that crap makes me feel like I'd rather take my chances running in front of the range targets on S.W.A.T. day.

I don't know a whole heck of a lot regarding vehicle fabrication, but I do know right from wrong.

Man, there is a lot wrong with some of those rides!

You can only do that in certain parts of this country - and most of that junk never sees pavement. Wyoming is one of those states where you could get away with something like these hack jobs tho... :yeso:

Btw, and you can't tell it from the pics, but the distance between the front tires was at least a foot wider than between the back tires. :thumbup:
