I had a Thule rack, from another vehical. I want to use the Thule so I had some brackets made that fit the vx rack. See pictures in gallery photos by WetMutt.

I use a Yakima receiver swing down rack. I tried several other swing aways and such, but unfortunately none I have found are low enough profile with Tone's custom hitch to allow the rear door to open. Opted not to go roof for fear of dropping bike when loading or unloading.....I would never forgive myslef ;eekr;

I have two Yakima roof mount bike racks that I would consider parting with. They look really nice mounted on the Yakima roof rack (available only through Isuzu dealers). PM me to discuss a price if you're interested.

Actually, i'm looking for a roof mount and a bike rack.
Had tried asking isuzu dealer for original isuzu roof rack pricing, but never got a reply.
So i thought i'll come here and ask for some opinions. Or maybe if u guys know anywhere i can buy them off the net. thx again.

Here's a stock price list:

http://www.isuzu.com/owners/accessories/vehicross.html

Your best bet is to call Merlin at St. Charles Isuzu in St. Peters, MO.
Toll Free: 800-727-8066
Phone: 636-441-4481

Free shipping and they discount to members of this board. Use them for the Yakima cross bars and risers (called "Aero Roof Rack" on the list above). You may want to get the mighty mounts from them as well. Once you have those pieces, you can buy most other Yakima accessories to bolt on from you favorite supplier.

I have a Yakima AnkleBiter installed on the passenger side of my LoadWarrior on 48" rack bars. Next to the LoadWarrior I'd say it looks pretty good....I guess.

I'll try and post an up-to-date picture soon.

I have some more info in my post here (http://www.vehicross.info/forums/showthread.php?postid=10980#post10980). I have Yakima King cobra - takes pretty much any bike without taking the front wheel off. Will try to take a pic this weekend, looks fine, i think.

I had this Masterbuilt carrier with optional bike carrier installed when I used to have my Grande Cherokee...kept it for the VX.
I know somebody will chime in saying it won't work for MOAB...but, it suits my needs. I also like it because with only 4 bolts to remove it becomes a carrier for a multitude of stuff...kind of a mini trailer w/o wheels! I bought mine from JC Whitney Jeep catalog which also had the optional bike carrier and brake light kit.
check my gallery for more pics if you like it!

PS...I plan on adding a roof basket instead of roof bike carriers someday so this setup works for me!
