Just a quick update on the sidecar outfit, It had a fair few problems and was a quite neglected and i got quite anoyed with it so i've been doing alot of servicing and tarting up. I've also been following a WW2 Harly Davidson WLC sidecar outfit theme. The handling is still an issue with heavy steering and it stil pull slightly on the mororway but i'm working on it.

Theres plenty still to do but heres a couple pics;

i sand blasted the exhaust and wheels, got the exhaust back up to polish finish rather than flaky matt black, painted loads of brackets and parts inc the fuel can, new chain and sprockets, oil, filters etc and i honestly thought the bike's wheels were black when i got it, turns out there chrome too !!!

I like the helmet too. Kind of blows the WWII look though. You need one of those spikey Kaiser helmets.

I always wondered how driving with a sidecar would be? I guessing you still get the open-air experience but lose the tightness of motorcycling. I see a hitch, how bout towing a couple of wave runners behind that rig? Does the sidecar quick-disconnect? It is a cool setup.

hahahaha FPMSL!! :D :D

nope wasn't me that time! glad you got a snap of it though, no idea what it is, has an engine like a motoguzzi but don't think it is one??

That red bike is a nice brittish Triumph Sprint ST good find!

Its unlike anything else i've driven, takes alot of learning! but can be fun once you get the hang of it. i haven't tried towing anything with it but its all wired up.

Sidecar has 4 mounts, so about 20 mins to seperate the two, however you would need to change your tyres to ride the bike on its own as they flatten off when riding upright and a flat profile tyre woudn't be good when leaning a bike!!!!

A spare set of wheels would be the way forward, so say and hour to make it a solo bike again
