As a few of you saw, my power steering was spitting a LOT of fluid in Moab. I thought it was the steering box. Todd Adams had had the same issue and appeared to leak from the box but he found it was the high pressure hose where the fitting crimps. Well as a quick fix (yea, I know its not perminant and the hose will need to be replaced at some time) I picked up a bottle of Lucas Oil power steering stop leak. Since then I have lost zero fluid, my steering is smooth (when leaking it worked great one way and was hard the other) and resolved a "squeeling noise" that it had.:thumbup:

I had the same problem with that high pressure line and had to replace it. Good to hear there is a back-up plan for when this happens on the trail. With a front locking diff, I'm sure I'll be in that situation again. :)
