AND... I didn't have to sell the VX to get it. I almost got a yellow and black one, but they wanted too much. White and black will do...Until I get my Sportster 48 that is... :naughty:

Cool..I liked a few of there models, I was alittle stunned to hear that Harley-Davidson announced that it is discontinuing Buell Motorcycles. They had a garage sale selling everything and I mean everything for pennies on the dollar from the Buell Plant in East Troy, WI

Cool Cece. I am good buddies with a few guys who race on a Mid-Atlantic Buell team. They would be very proud of ya. :)

I would like to join the 3 wheel club soon myself....

When I have 50k burning a hole in my pocket I'm right there with you. I want the T-Rex in the Pearl White. They had like 5 of them at the Chicago Motorcycle show!

:drool2: When I lived in Cali, I was at Neptune's Net when there happen to be a T-Rex Meet. There was a bajillion of them there... Loved 'em ever since. But that's my dream "ride"... Well, one of them... I have a practical dream ride... then the impractical dream ride I guess... :bgwo:

Hey there, Cece-- congrats on your Buell motorcycle, as it looks sweet. Ditto as the others have said and please be careful out there in the urban jungle with traffic. I never got into motorcycles because I fell off my bicycle too much and I never had a hankerin' for road-rash.

Wow, $50K for an inverted tricycle??? If I had that much money to spare, I'd buy a slightly used 2006 Corvette Z-06 with 505HP and not get wet in the rain (but that's just me). Enjoy your new Buell; and again, please be safe.:bgwb:

Nice scoot there Cece, welcome to the "Harley Fraternity"...Buell is a great first step and the only "real" performance step in the Harley family, I know I'll step on some V-Rod owners toes with that one, oh well...I've got an '01 Super Glide and any Buell would KILL ME in the tight twisties!

I'm happy that you got one. Bikes are fun. Makes cars seem so slow. Beware the gravel.

This is the first that I heard of Buell's demise. What a shame. Buell started as a small company using HD engines in their bikes. Then HD bought it out. Maybe a startup will start the whole process over again.

Beware the gravel.

Ain't that the truth.

85MPH @ full lean + gravel + canyon wall = airborne R1 and Jono

Not pleasant.

Ride safe and ALWAYS wear your gear! I'm actually looking at buying a Buell and streetfightering it. That or lift the VX....hmmmmmm.

That is awesome, but like everyone said, be careful.

I want a bike really bad, but I just know it won't be if, but when.

Yeah! I rode the Buell Blast home for her today (doesn't have her M class yet). She knows that there are 2 kinds of bikers... those that have crashed, and those that are going to. However, riding is tons of fun and doing it right (wearing protective gear, and being careful) makes it safer. Hope we have a warm & sunny Summer to enjoy the bikes!

Congrats Cecilia!
