I was on Ebay and the 3.2V6 Frontera (in the uk) has the cats in these pipes
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/VAUXHALL-FRONTERA-3-2-Exhaust-Catalytic-Converter-91423_W0QQitemZ260504597936QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_C arsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM?hash=item3ca748b5b0

Is that the same for us?

I have been wanting to remove the front exhaust baffle as i have a powerflow rear and its not loud enough but thought the CAT was in it so i would have to make a proper removable piece of exhaust pipe. It the CAT isn't in there i can just cut the box out and weld a straight piece of pipe on.

James we have a single cat just behind the two into one pipe - i don't think any of the Jap Isuzu's have the cats in the down pipes but rather a small section of power control holes to slow the gases down so as not to damage the cats/cat
the JDM's defo have a single cat
cheers
