VX OBSESSION / CLOSE ENCOUNTERS OF THE THIRD KIND

This should give the late nighters (Ldub & Ldub) something to think about. Have you ever noticed that most VXrs are pretty obsessed with owning and having a VX. Just look in the "introduce yourself here" thread to see : "I first saw it and had to have it", or When I first saw one I knew I would someday own one",etc. In the movie Close Encounters the people were obsessed with Devils Mountain. They had to get there and were obsessed with it even when they didn't know why. Kinda spooky huh? VXrs gotta have it , stick together like family, and chat about anything. I'm not saying there's anything supernatural about our fixation with our rides, but the simaliarities exist. Has a spaceship ever crashed in Moab ? I'm sure there have been sightings (especially after too many Moonkies).
