Hi,
I just recently installed a used Transmission Interceptor onto my VX, and posted the results of the installation on another thread. Soon after I received a couple PMs asking what this mod does, and any benefits..
Last night I came up with an analogy that I think explains this mod pretty well. (Thought I'd share it with you all...)
If you drive a stick shift, and know what a "short shift kit" is, then this is basically that, for an automatic.
It has 2 adjustments... Torque Converter Delay and Line Pressure.
Torque Converter Delay adjusts how fast you throw the stick-shift into gear... and the Line Pressure adjusts how hard or soft you drop the clutch.
Best analogy I could come up with.
