If you replace stock deck will this make 6 disc changer inoperable?

YES, it will. The OEM 6-Disc CD-changer can only be operated by the OEM "Head Unit" above in the dash!!! If you remove or replace the OEM Head Unit with an aftermarket stereo, then your 6-Disc changer becomes a decorative paperweight or you can use it as road-rage ammo to throw out at other rude drivers.

the OEM 6 disc CD changer is a piece of crap and it is only a matter of time until it displays ERR-3 and you have to replace it anyhow.

CIRCMAND--- If you're driving next to me; just make sure you have your window rolled-up, in case I experience the "ERR-3" syndrome and need to quickly disperse the CD-changer projectile.

maybe I need to buy it since I only live 20 odd miles from Riff Raff. Man needs to defend himself, you know, an eye for an eye, a cd changer for cd changer.
