MY VX Off Road At An Old Quarry

Went off roading in an old quarry today, had a great time. Can't believe what the VX will get up, its amazing. It has so much traction and a put a few landrovers to shame!!!! I sh*t my self a few times today, lol but over all enjoyed the Quary. We also did a 'punch hunt' where you have a card attached to your passanger side and there are stamps hidden around the site. You have to menouver your truck up the the stanp and stamp your card, a good laugh, especially the tricky ones half way up a 45 degree slope with an axle twister, lol

I still havent taken my Vx through any type of mud or so yet only round the coast 3 times which is gravel :o Tho i will soon :p

lol, na...i used to play in the mud then too!!!

I have to wash it myself this time as the Mrs didn't come which is a bit unfortunate, especially as i tried to do it last night and my jet wash lance split !!!! Trying to get the Mrs to get me a replacement today so i can do it this evening!

Yep all the time, you get the 'thats not a real 4x4' then you cream a discovery and their jaws drop!!!

Hmmm, me likey!!! The 2-door version looks very simular to a vintage Ford Bronco (USA) from the 70's. Way cool.

However, the 4-door bobtails look like a 4WD Ugo (I go where Ugo). The 4-door bobtails (on the bobtail "link") look like crap and are totally ugly.

Another favorite of mine from Europe is the Mercedes-Benz Uni-Mog's, which are primarily used in the UK military. I just love short wheel base Uni-Mog's!!! One tough truck.
