....but my Dad died peacefully in his sleep on June 12th.:(

He went with a 'wee' taste of his favorite whisky on his breath from the visit the night before.:_beer:

I'm good with that...and I'm SURE he would be.

I'm in England helping sort out all the $h*t ...:_brickwal

Thanks to all of you that have PM'd or e-mailed asking after him.

Jo, I'm so sorry to hear of your father's passing. From your descriptions he sounds like a great man, and the world is darker for losing him.

Jo--- Sorry to hear the sad news about your Dad. Only time can help heal wounds as deep as losing a Parent. Try to only think of the happy moments with your Dad, as it makes your tears of sorrow turn into tears of joy and laughter. All my best to you and your family.

My condolences, Jo. I lost my dad this March, and it's a hard thing to be prepared for. I'm glad you got to be there with him......

It sounds like he was a wonderful guy. He's lucky that he went out his way. I hope there are lots of good memories to aid you in your sorrow. I'll have a toast to you and yours this week end!

I am so sorry to hear the news, Jo. Having lost my dad in April I certainly can relate. The hubby and I will toast to his memory and to you and your family. I wish you profound peace at this time.

Wow Jo no words to express here except your in my thougts man. It is rough losing a parent, but as my youngest son said when my dad passed. "At least he isnt in pain anymore".

Jo anything we can do to help let the fam know.

I was just talking to a friend of mine about my Dad.. HE fell asleep and didnt wake up one day 8 years ago...ok ..when i was a teenager back in int 70s.. and i asked him "Dad can I borrow the truck".he looked at me and said"How STUPID do I look"..I had no answer.. I thought What do I say to that...lol..well anyhow ..I smile and miss him ........Happy Fathers Day to all the Dads this sunday..here of gone....
