Well, today was my last day as a janitor...

By taking on a roomie, & making a few other adjustments, I'm finally breaking free of the mop!...

Not having that dread every evining is gonna be great, & being able to stay up until two in the afternoon is going to give me more quality time with Suzy... 2 :_wrench:

I might even get her caught up on her maintence schedule...

Needless to say, I'm one happy dude right about now!!!

:dan_ban:............:dan_ban:

They should use you for that commercial where the mop gets "dumped" for the "new & improved" gizmo.

Then, (in the commercial) the mop starts sending "candy-grams", etc, to get back together....lol.

Glad your "move'in on"...:)

I take it your still on the night-shift doing your latest gig? (security?)
if I got that right...I'm surprised you stay up 'til 2pm and turn in.

I work the night shift and almost always go straight to bed (8 or 9am ish) and get up around (noon to 2pm ish). Then, catch a cat-nap before going in to work (usually 'round 8:30-9:30pm) work'in 11pm to 7am.

Unless it's going to rain/snow late afternoon...then I stay up like you and get things done then turn-in.

Yep...still workin' graveyard. It just works better for me to stay up till 1 or 2 pm & get 8 straight.

Might be an "old guy" thing...:rolleyesg

Congrats Dub. Glad to hear that things are working out in your favor. I know roomies can be taxing, but desperate times.... I try to avoid room mates as much as I can, but have had to take on a few over the years.

I hope that one of your "adjustments" isn't eating Ramen 24/7. A growing boy, such as yourself, needs to eat a balanced diet.

X2 here! Plus I used to have a roomate (back in my yoot), that is, until she found out I was living there. Then I got to push a mop for 30 days, judge let me out for time served (45 days). J/K but i am really happy for ya. oh and I'd buy one of those T-shirts too.

I'm just surprised you actually found someone to live with you!;) Wait... it's not "the ex" is it?!

Nope, in my EX-perience, x's are best left as x's...:smilewink
The new roomie is my former janitorial supervisor...she's a VERY nice person, & can handle being around me for six hours in a row (the time our schedules overlap)...actually seems to enjoy hangin' in Larryland...:_confused

Yeah, so far, it's been pretty easy, but it's been over thirteen years since I've lived with anybody, so there's bound to be a few "adjustments"...
I'm eating better now than I ever did as a confirmed bachelor...roomie COOKS...

Congrats, Dub!

no way...photochopping Stan's head onto your body would result in too many negative effects of unsprung weight....which would be bad...in a "cross the streams" kinda way......I think...

Very few have as much "unsprung weight" as I do...we all have our "cross" to bear...LOL
