Gymkhana Two.... rocking the '09 STi (makes me proud to have one!).

Sorta heavy on the advertising for the first minute, but still very enteratining.

Read a snippet somewhere yesterday on Ken's car.... 0-100 in 3.2 secs?!

WHAT?! :eek:

Apparently it isn't unheard of for a gutted rally machine to be able to do that though. Still found that impressive and couldn't possibly see my STi doing that.... but it might be fun on highway ON ramps. ;)

thm- ya, im thinking i need to find someone with a snow-mo camera for when we have snow drifting days....i have done most of the stuff he is doing there (with cones) in my VX...i just dont have a great camera crew ;)

You're exactly right. The clip is professionally edited from multiple runs to make it "look" like it's one single run. In the first opening scenes, there is a suction-cup camera mounted on the left-front fender (and nothing on the right-side of car); then in later shots, there is a C-pillar camera mounted on the passenger-side (and nothing on the left-side of car). Nevertheless, Ken Block is one heck of a talented driver to pull off such maneuvers. His pinpoint precision driving is simply incredible and poetry in motion. Further, it would be nice to have an abandoned airfield to play on as well.
