ok, so i ordered a bunch of stuff for my VX when i got my tax return...however, a lot of it required me to run wiring, so i decided i would take my interior apart and do it right....

please forgive the poor quality pics, taken with 2mp camera phone

so i did a quick write up for everyone-
use a pick tool to pull the ends of the caps that go over the grab handles...
http://www.vehicross.info/gallery/data/3221/0409091200-00.jpg

so, this is what it will look like after you pull the caps off
http://www.vehicross.info/gallery/data/3221/0409091200-01.jpg

next pull all the 'christmas tree's' off...
http://www.vehicross.info/gallery/data/3221/0409091202-00.jpg

next you need to remove the seat belts...i did the rear first...
http://www.vehicross.info/gallery/data/3221/0409091203-00.jpg

i used the hook pick tool to pop the covers off the front seat belts
http://www.vehicross.info/gallery/data/3221/0409091204-00.jpg

next you will need a T50 Torx bit to remove the top of the seat belts
http://www.vehicross.info/gallery/data/3221/0409091206-00.jpg
http://www.vehicross.info/gallery/data/3221/0409091206-01.jpg

remove the bottom of the front seat belts
http://www.vehicross.info/gallery/data/3221/0409091207-00.jpg

there are about 15 pressure clips that hold the rear part of the panel on... i started by pulling on the area near the rear at the top...
http://www.vehicross.info/gallery/data/3221/0409091209-00.jpg

the bottom is pressure clipped and velcro'ed
http://www.vehicross.info/gallery/data/3221/0409091209-01.jpg

next i pulled the panel to pop the strange clip near the doors...
http://www.vehicross.info/gallery/data/3221/0409091210-00.jpg

then push the whole panel towards the 'front' of the vehicle to get it to let go of the edge of the door
http://www.vehicross.info/gallery/data/3221/0409091211-00.jpg

then, if you look behind the panel, the piece around the seat belt unclips.
http://www.vehicross.info/gallery/data/3221/0409091212-00.jpg

this leaves you with only the rear part...
http://www.vehicross.info/gallery/data/3221/0409091220-00.jpg

screw here...

screw here...
http://www.vehicross.info/gallery/data/3221/0409091221-01.jpg

unscrew this with your hand
http://www.vehicross.info/gallery/data/3221/0409091222-00.jpg

take these two screws out
http://www.vehicross.info/gallery/data/3221/0409091222-01.jpg

unclip this cover over the top of the seat belt
http://www.vehicross.info/gallery/data/3221/0409091224-00.jpg

then same as the front, look behind and unclip the cover around the seat belthttp://www.vehicross.info/gallery/data/3221/0409091225-00.jpg

keywords- interior, removal, rear speakers, grab handles

the rest should just be pressure clips...you should end up with something like this...

Those white plastic fasteners like you show in 0409091212-00.jpg are a straight up whore to get back in place. Are there any special tools you use to do those?

Nice!! Now you can add some thumpin' speakers in the rear and reclaim that floor space behind your seats.

shouldnt take all day...took me maybe 3 hours total for both sides with taking pictures and running wires...

Is the enough room to fit some eight inch woofers behind the rear panels ?

I copied this over to How To's section (http://www.vehicross.info/modules.php?name=Content&file=viewarticle&op=newarticle&id=55)So it won't get lost in the archives eventually. I put credit to you, pbkid, and will get to changing the database entry to reflect your name.

if you reinforced the panels i think you could pretty easily build a sealed enclosure to fit a small 8-10" woofer under the jack tools with the cone on the outside of the panel

with some creativity...yes...but you would have to be pretty creative in my opinion

you should be able to get it at any best buy..i believe it came in 15 foot sections...
its REALLY nice to have when running a 4channel amp because it cleans up all the wiring...also nice if your planning on running 10 lights on your roof rack like me ;)
