Does anyone know the make and model of the nerf bars (I still have the
brackets) Tone was selling before his untimely death?
I bought them when I first got my VX, they've pretty much rusted through.
I will use his brackets of course, but I don't know which model of the
Luverne Nerf Bars he was getting for us. Possibly Isuzu Rodeo?
Any info appreciated!

Doh, I wish you had posted this last week. Tone shipped my set in the original Luverne box, which I bet had the part # on the outside. Unfortunately I threw the box away last weekend without writing it down.
Sorry dude, maybe somebody else can help. :(

I have those numbers, but they do not correspond to the current model numbers off the Luverne website. Thanks though Moncha.
Anybody else happen to know?

I was interesting in buying them also. I contacted Luverne and Deb St. Clair replied:
The nerf bar that they are advertising is the F9921SST(549225).
Thank You,
Deb
That's for the stainless steel bar. Do I need special brackets to mount them?

medman- the frame and dimensions of our VX should match a trooper RS, or 97 trooper.
key word....SHOULD..... nothing is for certain in our VX world

Grant,
The brackets that Tone had fabricated used the 2 body mount bolts at the front and rear of the doors. I'm guessing that nobody has anything similar but I can't be sure.
I never got mine mounted since my wheel offset makes NERFs impractical so I could check with 'welder guy' so see if he's interested in making a few if there are enough people committed to purchase. Lemme know.
