Well I finally made it back to Phoenix to have that pesky gallbladder taken out with a blow up doll and a camera.. I figured it would be pretty easy... no real trauma or complications... That was Monday the 16th, was home by noonish.. and following all my nursey guidlines. I felt pretty good.

tuesday morning went out with My bro and had breakfast.. cakes and eggs.. a littile heavy?.. maybe but not suicidal, well by 4 pm.. my step started to drag so I went to bed to see if it would kick.. no such luck,

9pm the only relief I would feel was after regurgitating so for the next 7 hours I felt relief on the hour every hour.. reliving my meals for the past 2 days, on at a time,

I went to the emergency room at 4 am..thanks to my lovely wife.

The triage nurse was skeptical of my here say history till I presented evidence for her in technicolor. she finished the paperwork fast after that and of the the room I went.

for the next few hours I was poked and prodded for blood and other unspeakable samples and I was told my kidneys and liver were either shutting down or wacked out. (DUH) they finally shoved an NG tube up my nose to empty my stomach and said drink this chalky stuff so we can get a contrast when we xray you.

I think I drank a quater of what they wanted me to drink and called it good.

well after the 2 x-rays... the second being a 60 minute one that got canceled with 7 minutes to I was headed to ICU so I could be prepped for a resection of a quadrant that isint working right. I had heard these terms on ER. but never when something had gone right..

so// now I sit in my room.. not eating.. not drinking.. no sounds in my tummy and am wondering.. will they have to do it again to hit pay dirt...

anywas..

I just read of our beloved Tone's passing so I figured i would place this far away from that.. I too bought a vx after reading his little porshce slalom course whipping he put on the boxters...

be well and stay informed

Maybe you shouldn't have had that pesky gallbladder taken out in the first place. The post operation issues sound like something that would make you go to the emergency all by them selves. The cure being worse than the disease. Sometimes it's better to live with pesky than deal with the alternative. Should have done a liver flush instead. It works wonders. Driving the VX will make everything better.

First off, Solitude, get better soon, bro!!! My mother-in-law had a massive gall bladder attack on a flight from Buffalo or Ft. Lauderdale. She said she was in wicked pain for the whole flight and couldn't do a damn thing until they landed in Florida. From the airport she went straight to the emergency room and they extracted her gall bladder. So far so good in her case.

I was thinking the same thing. Have you ever done a liver flush? I would like to try one myself. I get gallstone pain from time to time, and with my job (sitting in front of a PC for the last 13 years) and my love for fast/junk food I wouldn't doubt it if I will have gallbladder problems in the future. I would MUCH rather go holistic than have invasive surgery. I have read about the Olive Oil/Epsom Salt/Lemon juice cleanse before, but I have not tried it. I have read a lot of skeptical things about this cleanse as well saying that it is BS. So, fill us in or PM me!!

Thanks - Bart

well. I did look into alternatives but considering the family history with gall stones and the solitude family tree. It was time for the gall bladder to come out.

If you have a propensity of manufacturing stones.. that is what your body will do no matter how many times you Hi Colonic your liver

I consulted My physician and many specialists before I went this route, and waited 2 years from the onset of initial symptoms before I actually did remove the stones and bladder

I did change my diet. stopped smoking .. cut back on the drinking and decreased my fat intake.

but still here I am..

again..thanks for the kind words and well wishes.. we are a family here.. as dysfunctional as it can be sometimes.. its still family.

Peace

Good to hear you're home. I just got released from the hospital yesterday myself after having an emergency appendectomy Saturday night. Apparently my appendix decided to inflame for no apparent reason Saturday morning, and by the afternoon the surgeons said it was big enough to rupture at any moment. Fortunately they got it out in time, but man does recovery suck!

Best of luck!
