So, i was wondering if my VX had hit the 10 year mark, well so i looked at the sticker inside the center storage right under neath the arm rest. So Mine said December 18, 1998. So i was just wondering what every1's else said, so if you still have that sticker, let us know. And write it down in here, it's just VX Chat, and i don't think this subject has ever come up before.

Yeah, I think this has come up somewhere in the past. It's been awhile, so it will be fun to see everyone's Date Of Inspection.

Mine is July 27, 2000.

It's funny because my VX is called a 2001. My VIN # is 440 which means it towards the tail end of the production line.

Peace.

Since the new car year generally starts in July the year before.

It's my understanding that the inspection sticker under the armrest was put there by the parts supplier who made the armrest before they shipped it out to the Isuzu plant.

My armrest sticker says 4/7/99 with an Isuzu VX production date of 7/21/99.
'99 #0454 has a production date of 3/3/99.
'01 #0440 has a production date of 9/1/00.

I have an Isuzu CD like the dealers have, but you can find your production date at www.myisuzuparts.com (http://www.myisuzuparts.com/). Just use the VIN Search in the upper right hand corner. They call it an applied date on that site, but it's the same as the official production date on my CD.

Ya don't even have to enter the whole darn thing. You can enter the last six or eight digits only. For all 2001's the first four of the last eight are always 17d0, 2000's are y7d0, and 1999's are x799.

To recap, enter the four digits from above followed by your last four.

You can find your month/year of production in the drivers door jam, but not the exact day. It should match up with what you find on the parts site.

My 2001 Foxfire VIN 1343 armrest sticker says 7/26/00 with an Isuzu VX production date of 12/08/00.

Big difference between the armrest and the Isuzu books. I agree with the armrest manufacturer theory:rotate::rotate:
