Cool! How do you like the Kenwood? Does the screen tilt and pan enough from the stock mounting location? Post some photos of different angles if you can and don't mind. Also, do you notice any difference between the Kenwood's 6.5" screen and other unit's 7" screen?

Thanks in advance for any info you can share!

it is truely awesome, there is a new model called the kvt915dvd coming out , but it is 800 more and it only has 2 features more than mine, digital processor built in (for 5.1) and a 7 inch screen. i was gonna wait and get it but i figured is it really worth 800 more, i mean thats damn near half a super charger. it doesn't more any other angles and is a perfect fit with the brackets from the stock radio.if you want one now is the time. i got mine new( not refurb) for 1487 with the wiring harness and tax. i am thinking about writing a how to on how i mapped where all the wiring went and where i put the brain, if interested let me know.

Thanks! What I'm really curious about is some photos from the side and such to see how much you can tilt the display forward and back in addition to the side to side swivel. This is an issue with many of the in-dash displays due to the depth of the stock mounting location.

the unit doesn't swivel, and it goes to a full 90 degree position andjust clers the brim, it is truely a perfect fit

I have one of those reverse cameras I think you are wanting...bought it with the power buy...I got it, made sure it worked and its been packed in the box ever since...don't know if I will ever get around to get-n it in....if you want it, its still in the original box, everything is till there....I will take what we all paid for them $170.00 . Let me know if you want it!

Hey Joe,

I have the Alpine CVA-1003 and I snapped some pix for you. This one doesn't swivel side to side, but I never really felt like I needed it to. You can see the picture very well straight on.

This is the standard placement of the screen when it pops out...

And this is the extended version. If you hold down the 'open' button, the screen extends about another inch. You can then tilt it back, like I did here.

Hi Guys,

I missed the rush for the back up camera power buy but I would like to buy the same model advertised there even if it costs more than the power buy price. (VDI-202CCVH)
I tried to locate a source on the Internet but could not find any store. I did only find the manufacturer site in Taiwan.

Does anyone know any place (store) where I could try?

Thanks

Robert

Thanks BBVX! So you're pretty happy with the viewing angle without side-to-side tilt?
