Well this car is turning out to be damn good fun!!!! I bought some bits for it and thought id let you know my plans (but don't tell the boss, she'll kill me!!) :rolleyes:


Installed got my 6" WIPAC lights through and have bolted them on, i'll connect the wiring on saturday!!! Cost me £58 delivered, think they look awesome!!

I got my OME 912 Springs through the post today :D going to fit those and crank up the front to match, that was £164.22 delivered

Got a set of tow rope, Kinetic energy rope and shackles etc through the post ready for off roading next weekend :D £131

Got a scan Guage 2 that i will install properly saturday too £131

I pick up my set of 9" wide split rims next week!! bought them for a bargain £75 to be refurbished, then i'm putting on BF Goodrich M/T's 265/75/16 This is going to look MEAN !!!!!!!!:D

i need to sort the cladding big time, its almost grey!!

i have a DVD player to replace the standard sat nav / reverse camera which all needs ripping out (should give some more boot space)

Then i want to tint the windows and add some rock sliders ........ can't wait !!

Google "Refinish Restorer"... it's a German product, so you should be able to find it more easily in UK than we can here. You will be quite happy with the results. Then search this site for application tips...

Cool man! I can't wait to see the finished pics!

2 tips: When you lift, spray the t-bar bolts with rust breaker about an hour or so before you start to crank, they will turn easier.

Also, get a white grease pencil and mark the bolts so you can see exactly how many turns you go on each side. This will make getting the lift even on both sides a lot easier. :)

tip 3: well what I did also was put jack (um I mean jack stands :p ) under front when you do t-bars. With spray and the weight of your truck off the ground makes it easier to turn.

also after lift drive a bumpy road or wait a week and recheck... sometimes takes a bit for front to settle in.
