I downloaded this 23,403 page manual, found it on a torrent.

It has everything, expanded views illustrations, diagnosing procedures etc. Not sure if it's available on the site already, but if anyone would like it let me know. Maybe it could be posted for download here.

It's 147.8mb :)

I also have 3 other manuals that add details for right hand drive etc.

Based on my tripped codes, and use of this manual it looks like I'm due for a PCV, EGR, and MAF cleaning :D

Uploading now, I'll have a link for everyone by morning. (probably tonight Tuesday, Jan 6th)

As for storage... I have no worries... I've got about 3.5TB so 150mb is no biggie... I have so many movies it's sick... And TV shows, and Blu-Ray Rips... All Legit of course :)

======

On another note, I changed my PCV, cleaned my EGR, and MAF, dumped a bottle of seafoam in the tank, and filled it up with premium. Codes have not come on, before they came on within 30 seconds of clearing, so I think I'm in good shape.

If they come back on, then it's on to the O2 sensors.

Let me know if anyone has any issues... I'll let it stay there for a week or so, but then I'll pull it.

You're all welcome... Figured it'd help out a few of us...

Foot is great... 90%, As soon as it feels good enough I'll have to go for a run, bike ride etc. and see if it was "worth" it ;) So far it doesn't feel as good as it did Pre-Op.

Thanks. Just what I needed. Great Job. People on this site are a great help to each other. Thank you.
It will help me with my
1999 Amigo
2000 VX
2001 Rodeo Sport

I just replaced my surpentine belt on the 1999 Amigo.
Probably saved about $ 200.00 by doing it myself from the help from this site.

Thanks Tom - I thought I was going mad for a minute! Do you have the rhd file or was it never part of it?

I also noticed the Rodeo has the 3.2 engine. Does anyone know if that is the same one as used in the JDM ones?

I will check my comp at home. Sometimes you can get a visual by looking up parts at this website: http://www.partswebsite.com/buyisuzuautoparts/ I have frequently gone to the parts catolog and narrow down to a part that is in the zip code of what I want to view. Sometimes the parts will have a "view illustrations" link.

tom4bren

http://ge.tt/39mQ8ZG

still uploading but I'll check to make sure it uploaded correctly & let you know.

Edit:

I tried the DL but it's either painfully slow or it hangs up. Gotta run to a meeting but will try again later.

BTW, here is the location of the upload (may work better from here):

http://www.ge.tt/#39mQ8ZG

Edit again: & now it's gone. So far I'm not a big fan of ge.tt

Edit X3: I tried the other upload URL above & it indicated that ppines email addy is invalid.

Edit X4: largefilesasap worked this time (I think I copied a space at the end of your email addy the first time). You have 3 days to download the file.

IIRC it's almost 2GB.

I'll try to get'r done shortly. Maybe it'll upload whilst I'm in my meeting that starts in a few minutes.

I'll post the URL as soon as it's posted (using scribd).

EDIT:

Didn't work with scribd (file too big). I'll try another site.

One of these 2 URLs should work:

http://dc236.4shared.com/download/A63EZnHr/US_RV.pdf?tsid=20110831-151308-b4aadd39

http://www.4shared.com/document/A63EZnHr/US_RV.html

The limitation with this site though is that you have to wait 10 min before download will begin (because it's free). I think the first URL will work without the wait.

Download ASAP since I don't know how long it will stay posted.

Billdog103
08/31/2011, 10:15 AM
Thanks! it downloaded just fine and has the info I was lloking for. This (in my opinion) is something they should hand you when you buy the vehicle. Torque specs alone are priceless, at least to me, nothing more satisfying than to hear that click and know that is what the original engineer wanted it to be. I will try and make it available via the torrent services.

You only thought you were wrong ... but that was a mistake.

The manual in question does contain the same as what's in our DL but also includes Trooper, Rodeo & Amigo for 99-02. Now we just hafta find it for JDM(in English) & our archives will be complete.

We actually have two 2000 VX shop manuals in our downloads section and a 1999 VX electrical manual. If you want a 1999 VX shop manual, that 147mb pdf file is the only place we know of to get one, without buying one at an Isuzu parts dealer. I don't think we've ever seen a 2000 VX electrical manual alone for download yet. It should be part of that 2000 VX manual iso download that Scott added in 2009.

And of course, Isuzu never made a 2001 VX shop manual, so you're out of luck with that one. ;)

I found one in the downloads with 1700 some pages. I guess some of these pages are for the Rodeo also.

A girl backed into me and messed up a trans. line or something. It is leaking a bit and I need to replace the trans fluid to drive it to the body shop. Do you know a way to add some fluid to the trans on a 2000 Rodeo V6 automatic?

Thanks.

tom4bren
12/20/2012, 02:41 AM
If the Rodeo has a Tranny dipstick for checking the level, then put the fluid in there (use a funnel). If there's no dipstick, then you'll have to crawl under to find the drain & fill plugs on the tranny case. The higher one is the fill plug. Just add fluid in there till it dribbles out.

CarGuy
12/21/2012, 06:45 PM
Thanks Tom. The girls insurance company is paying for me a rental car until my car is fixed. I need to make sure the body shop adds trans. fluid before they try to drive it. Yes it is a sealed unit without dipstick or tube.
