Seems I've got a leak - either from the high pressure line or the actual connection to the power steering unit. I've read some other accounts but was wondering if anyone else has had an issue or has priced the high pressure line (pretty pricey).

Just had this problem 2 weeks ago. You can get the line from www.autohausaz.com for $177. Shipping is free if you use UPS ground. I had to overnight it though to VA and that cost an extra $45.

I just took it to a local shop to have it installed but there is a How-To thread on this site somewhere if you want to do it yourself.

Thanks Paul - I read that thread - seems there may be differences in the guts of the PS pump. I had one shop look at it and they wanted more than $600 for the job - I thought that was a bit excessive.

cross shop GM...that may be one of the Generals pumps. Same as Rodeo etc at least.
