Maybe I am doing something wrong, or maybe not. I guess it doesn't help I don't have an owners manual. By default when ON, my radio shows either the CD track info or the radio station. When I press and hold the DISP button it shows the clock, but then it seems to go back to the radio station a minute or so later. I would like the radio to always show the time whether on or off. Is mine acting funny or is this just the way it is? I'm assuming all the radios are the same, I have a 2000 VX with the stock head unit (cassette player) with the 6 disc underneth changer.

If you hold down the display "Disp" button and the <<4 button at the same time for 6 seconds, you will hear a "Beep" and then the clock will be the dominant display--I think. You can toggle back and forth by repeating this procedure. I just changed my battery this weekend and had to set the clock and the display. What you are describing is the default.

We have tried everything and cant seem to find the answer. Love the car and love reading about everyone's experiences with their VXs. Thanks for any help!:D

Or you could wait a minute 'til noon or midnight and disconnect and then reconnect the battery terminals...LOL....just kidding!

If you'd like to get any of the manuals that came with a new VX you can find them here. (http://www.helminc.com/helm/Result.asp?Style=&Mfg=AIM&Make=AIM&Model=VEHI&Year=2001&Category=&Keyword=&Module=&mscsid=2ADVDM9TLFHF9GLMDD5UCVHGM2J277NA)
