I saw one of those here in Reno. I think there is a shop in town here that sells them. I think they are kinda wierd lookin. I'm not sure I actually like them yet or not. However, I am fond of the idea of something that gets gas mileage like a motorcycle, but is maybe a little more enclosed, and thus, safer. I think someone needs to make a working Light Cycle.

EDIT: Well well, it looks like this company is actually trying:

Well, iirc, the light cycles were head first, which made them even cooler, but I would imagine that might get somewhat uncomfortable for us "users".

This thread just got really funny. Come on, Jo, you mean to tell me you have never seen Tron???

And by the way, you have a VX, so you are automatically into sci-fi, as far as I'm concerned.

When I saw the title for the thread I thought you were talking about this ('97 Dodge T-Rex):

http://dodgeram.org/ki4cy/ram_picts/trex-front.jpg

I wanted one of these real bad when they were entertaining the thought of putting them into production. Just another concept that wasn't meant to be!

A guy I work with had one. Ended up selling it months after buying it. He claims visibility is HORRIBLE, not only for you, but since you sit with a very low profile, nobody on the road can see you well at all and he had many close calls. I used to joke around with him saying he needs one of those beach buggy posts with the yellow flag on it attached.

And for what you get, there is no way I could spend the money on THAT. His sell off was worth it considering he got rid of that and picked up a Seven (http://www.carpages.co.uk/caterham/caterham_images/caterham_seven_03_03_06.jpg)

The TRex is very cool looking.
I don't think I could wear the driving suit.

Even though 3 wheels is not my thing
I just started rebuilding a 3 wheeler mini van.
It has a fiberglass body so I can modify the heck out of it.
