Here are my first pics of the clear & smoked side & front lenses from Klearz.
I am very impressed at the quality; they look and feel and fit like the stock lenses.
The only issues I noticed were on the side lenses.
You can notice the (clear) adhesive if you want to be picky about it.
But once they're on, it's not an issue. Also,
while screwing them on, you'll notice (i did) that the back tip (the end with the screw hole) is not 100% flush with the body. HOWEVER, it too is nothing too noticeable, and i'm thinking that over time they will flex a little and flatten out. I'm telling you, it's really minor. Just screw them on slowly and firmly and make sure they're on good but do not overtighten!

NICE, I can't wait. Did you put an amber bulb in your sides?

Bart

EDIT: By the way, the Chambers look sweet. Did you debadge the center caps too?

Yep, the Chambers are de-badged.

No amber bulbs, yet.
I'll try to find some tomorrow.
As for the legality of it all...
I got pulled over 2 days ago for my tinted windows!
I have to take it off, which I am NOT happy about.
While I am getting the fix it ticket resolved I'll see what they say about the lenses/lights. If anything.

Sport,
I hear what you're saying. That's what I was afraid of...them looking a bit too purplish. But they look a bit better in person.
And consider this-
the darker the VX, the better it'll look.
There's a whole lotta white underneath on mine.
They will look best on an ebony.

is that the white housing on the ones installed in the photos? Do you think that ordering them with a black housing would help things any?

I have clear lenses with the black housing on the way. I will send pics when they arrive.

going on an ebony.

no, it's black.
But it's hard to tell now if they're actually a tinted lens (which is what I ordered) or if it's a clear on a black housing.

I somewhat forgot about this, but they had said they would do clear, tinted and dark lenses.
I emailed to ask if that was still possible, or if these smoked lenses are the darkest they made.

Alright-
they didn't make anything darker than the tinted ("smoked") color.
However,
the tinted SIDE lenses in my pics above are actually clear lenses on a black housing...
so tinted lenses will actually be darker!

(Apparently i asked for clear on black when i should have requested tinted.)

Nope, I dont really expect mine till sometime in Jan. Last day of work till the new year and they are being shipped here, so even if they do arrive before then, I lose.

I got mine and you know, I'm just not feeling the side markers. I love my blacked out ones and I am gonna stick to 'em.

The front turn signal covers are superb and fit awesomely. They compress the rubber gasket like the orginals and that is really good, since Ron's were just flat.

Oh ya, forgot.... I got mine a couple days after Xmas (well, work did but I wasnt here to collect). But of course, the VX is in the body shop so the lenses are sitting home on the coffee table still.

Quality-wise, these things are about as close to OEM as you are gonna get. Very good quality!

Visually, hard to say since I cant install yet, but they look quite good. I got the silver housing which gives it a much more crystal white look, and its very appealing. I have very high hopes and recommend them.

I put mine on last night. The front and side silver lenses. My take....

Fronts: You cant find a better solution. If you didnt know any better, you would think they were factory. Excellent look and excellent fit. 10/10

Sides: The fit is a little "eh" but they look great. They appeared to be a bit more concave with the curvature than the fender, so tightening down on teh screw I had to be careful I didnt crack them (passenger side was a little more curved than my driver side). Once seated, they look good. My driver side lense has a slight wiggle in it and isnt seated perfectly, but its livable. I think by putting a cushioned backing on the lense, like the OEMs, it will seat better. 8/10

I took an exacto knife and some sandpaper to the backs of the side lenses to clean off some of the excess glue buildup. Flushed it down so they would seat right on to the surface of the fender. Quick and easy task in case you have some glue buildup.

Altogether, I am please with the Klearz lenses.
