I fell that one of my seat supports on the drivers side of the seat might be broken. The hinge that goes from the seat portion to the back support portion.
When I am driving, it feels like the back support portion is leaning back like something is broken in the seat.
Anyone know how to remove the plastic cover on the back of the seat so I can take a look at the problem or any suggestions?

Have you tried adjusting the seat back to a more upright position?

I haven't yet but will have to soon. The release to tilt the driver's seat went 'Tango Uniform'.

Does Section 8G-2 in the shop manual help?

I looked in the shop manual but it did not help me.
How do you remove the hard plastic portion of the back drivers seat?

I'll have a look-see if ever I can get home before dark (0530-1930 days are really starting to suck - thank my lucky stars y'all are here to keep me sane (relatively speaking of course)).

C'mon etlsport. I've never known you not to have a pic already on hand for such a repair.

I seem to remember a thread w/pics about adding aftermarkwet "bunwarmers" to the stock seats, a search might turn up what you're looking for.;)

Yes, Yes. Thanks to darkl4805

May have to do the heaters myself. Wifey got in the VX yesterday - shirt rode up, pants rode down, skin touched leather (at 40 deg F) - she screamed, clawed the ceiling... Yup, it's time to upgrade.

They fit 'zakly like they were supposed to - we were on a date (OK, just Christmas shopping but still a date). Blue jeans that fit like second skin & a nice tight sweater. She cleans up purdy.
