Hi gang,
I`ve been having issues with my trany for awhile now. Last time i changed fluid it was i think 5-6 month ago and it worked fine but now it start kinda sliping again and it kicks my TOD sometimes cuz i see all 3 bars on. So my questions Is that okay to change tranny fluid every 6 month? Because my tranny fluid leacks i know that so it might be because there is noe enought fluid in tranny.

you shouldnt need to change it every 6 months.. maybe just keep an eye on it and keep refilling as necessary.. low fluid would cause the slipping/kicking.. also have you checked the tod fluid? maybe changing that out would be a better place to start, i remember you saying something about it was only at low speeds, i would start by draining and refilling the tod fluid

I'd better fix the leak and refill with synthetic fluid. Then safely run 30000 miles to next change.

i tryed to fix it, my VX been at the dealer 5 times. They tryed to change the gaskets and the other stuff inside but nothing helped it still were leaking a lit bit and now it start acting up so im thinking i need to add some fluid but im not sure how. And i also want to chnage my diff fluids does anyone know how much it cost around?

for the front diff it should be about $24 (3 quarts at $8/quart) and the rear should be like 40-45 (3 quarts at $14 a quart) thats assuming you use mobil 1 75w-90 for the front and mobil 1 75w-140 in the rear
