I know the picture quality could be better but I just finished a quick wash and wanted to snap some pics before it got darker.
Yes I had to trim some cladding in the front only, but since It was a rush job and I need to clean it up a bit later, I won't show you the mess I made, yet.

On a side 'mod' note...I also was able to recently score a:
http://www.vehicross.info/gallery/data/500/thumbs/9_14_07_105.jpg
used Morgan-Tec muffler from a local fellow VX owner and had it installed the same day.

Since it and my exhaust tip were looking a bit discolored, I had the shop paint it a flat black to subdue it a bit:

It's really unfortunate that M-T no longer has the capacity to produce/provide VX mufflers.....they are (were) a top-notch addition for anyone looking for an exhaust upgrade.

I think it would look cool if you painted the black plastic that is inside the headlight casing white too.

I would kill to rid myself of these stock Chrome rims..Thwey are my second set in great shape but hat cleaning. Like the Teflons...How durable are these in salt etc.

THANKS everyone,

* Willy - I don't think I'll paint the bolts. I almost had the tires put on the other way with the white lettering showing, but a couple people talked me out of it...
advised me how it will be hard to keep clean and/or fade.

* Ldub - I plan on it next year

* WyrreJ - At this point I don't think I would do that, but you never know. I am thinking about the grill though and am wondering if I should have grabbed a
skid plate while they were available.

* VXNIT - I JUST got them on, and I live in SoCal...sorry, but I don't think I'll have too much experience with salt.

Like I always say, the Teflon Chambers are made for the VX! Looks awesome! You should black out your side markers now!!

BTW, did you debadge your center caps too? It looks like you removed the AR sticker from them at least.

It will be that or clear. I'll try both but stick with what looks better. Which will probably be black. Ironic, now that the clear marker project is nearing completion.

Bingo.
Was worried about it looking plain, but there's a nice little surprise under there for people that pop them off.

I blacked mine out and will never go back. Also blacked the rear red lenses.

Nice VX. Im in the market for some black rims. I love the chambers and consideirng our cross continent distance I still feel like I should not join the band wagon and get them. Maybe Ill try the traxx 8 in black im going for a an 18'' this time though.

Who would have thunk the guy who loves to be different than everyone else, who hates the norm, the typical... who chose the Chambers first... is now part of... "the bandwagon". :p Whatcha think about this, Bart?

JHarris1385

It wasnt meant to be taken like that. The chambers are one if not the best looking rim for the VX. I just dont want to be third in line on the forums to have gotten them.

Not a fan of those too much. I shooting for an all black rim since it is easier to find than my ultimate goal of a white rim. Bronze and gold are 2nd choice.

Are the clear corners almost done? I haven't heard anything about it lately. I might still run the clears if they look good. I have fallen in love with the all black though.

The only bad part was I was in a hurry and scuffed one of them pretty bad.

Yeah, that AR logo embedded in the plastic sucks. I sanded mine down and then sprayed them.

Clear corners project needs one more mold.
They should finish within a month.

Yeah, I didn't mind the AR logo engraved under the cap, but that reflective plastic cap had to go.
